For your planning purposes, listed below are weekly roadwork updates for HDOT projects that may affect traffic to and from the West Oahu region. The list includes lane closures over the weekend and the upcoming week. For up-to-date information, please visit our HDOT roadwork website. 1) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Aiea Pedestrian Overpass between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Aiea/Kaneohe/Honolulu Off-Ramp (Exit 13A) on Monday, May 18, through Friday morning, May 22, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly.
- Three center lanes will be closed from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Four center lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Please pay attention to traffic control signs as the traffic will be routed around the closure.
Construction will replace approximately 10,000 square feet of deteriorated pavement on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction. The concrete deck will be replaced by approximately 84 precast panels.
2) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU
Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening.
- One right lane closed Monday through Thursday
- Two right lanes closed on Friday

- Three right lanes closed from 8 p.m., Saturday, May 16, through 10 a.m., Sunday morning, May 17
- Two right lanes closed Sunday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- One right lane closed Sunday, May 17, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Laaloa Street and Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor Off-Ramp (Exit 1A) of the H-1 Freeway on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for soil testing.
2) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and Waiawa Road on Sunday night, May 17, through Friday morning, May 22, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project.

Full closure of the Farrington Highway eastbound on-ramp to the H-2 Freeway in the northbound direction on Sunday night, May 17, through Friday morning, May 22, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the rail project.

5) WAIANAE
Shoulder closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Lualualei Homestead Road and Kaupuni Street on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., daily, for traffic signal improvements.
6) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

1) MILILANI
Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repaving and striping work. One lane will be open for motorists at all times.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.
2) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.
- 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road.
- 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road.
- 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Lipoa Place and Pali Momi Street
- Lane closures in the westbound direction between Pali Momi Street and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.
- Lane closures in both directions between Puu Poni Street and Kaonohi Street, Monday through Friday.
- Lane closures in the westbound direction between Salt Lake Boulevard and Honomanu Street, Monday through Friday.

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between the H-2 Freeway Overpass and Paalaa Uka Pupukea Road on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree trimming.
4) WAIKELE
Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions at the Lumiaina Street intersection on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road reconstruction.
- Lane closures on Lumiaina Street, eastbound, on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22
- Lane closures on Lumiaina Street, westbound, on Tuesday, May 19, through Wednesday, May 20
- Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway, northbound, on Tuesday, May 19, through Wednesday, May 20
- Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway, southbound, on Thursday, May 21, through Friday, May 22
The Lumiaina Street Traffic Improvements project will add a dedicated left turn lane on Lumiaina Street in the eastbound direction, turning onto the northbound lanes of Kamehameha Highway towards Mililani. Traffic signals will be modified to provide a left-turn only green arrow for these lanes. Work is anticipated to be completed in June 2015.
5) WAIPAHU TO WAHIAWA
Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Waipahu Street and the H-2 Freeway Overpass on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree trimming.
1) KAPOLEI
Alternating lane closure on Fort Barrette Road in the northbound direction between Kamaaha Avenue and Farrington Highway on Friday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for asphalt repairs.
