In observance of Statehood Day there will be no lane closures on Friday, Aug. 21

1) AIEA Three right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kaamilo Street Overpass and the Kaimakani Street Overpass on Monday night, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., nightly, for road repair work. 2) AIEA TO PEARL CITY Three left lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) on Tuesday night, Aug. 18, through Thursday morning, Aug. 20, from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., nightly, for barrier installations. 3) EWA Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Ewa Off-Ramp (Exit 5A) and the Kualakai Parkway Underpass on Monday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for utility installations.

4) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass on Sunday night, Aug. 16, through Friday morning, Aug. 21, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. 5) PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split on Monday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for deck widening. 6) PEARL HARBOR Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Arizona Memorial Stadium (Exit 15A) and the Radford Drive Overpass on Monday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail installations.

7) SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NIGHT WORK) Partial closures of the Airport Off-Ramp (Exit 16) and the Keehi Interchange ramps on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Tuesday night, Aug. 18, through Friday morning, Aug. 21, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for deck sealing.  All ramps will remain open. Motorists are advised to pay attention to all traffic control signs, allow for extra travel time and slow down in the work zone area.

8) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) Lane closure of the Farrington Highway On-Ramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Sunday night, Aug. 16, through Friday morning, Aug. 21, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., nightly, for the rail project. 4) WAIMANALO (WEEKEND WORK) Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kanapuu Drive and Flamingo Street on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree trimming.

5) WAIMANALO Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Bell Street and Huli Street on Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pole replacements.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KAAAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 24/7 lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Keo Place and Trout Farm Road for emergency shoreline improvements.  Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lane.  Motorists are advised to expect delays.

2) KAAAWA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Puakenikeni Road and Pohuehue Road on Monday, Aug. 17, through Friday, Aug. 21, daily, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repairs.

3) KAAAWA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Johnson Road and Kualoa Regional Park on Tuesday, Aug. 18, through Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenance. The Kaneohe-bound lane will be contraflowed to accommodate traffic.

4) KAAAWA Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Kualoa Regional Park and Johnson Road on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility maintenance. The Laie-bound lane will be contraflowed to accommodate traffic.

5) MILILANI Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street on Monday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail and loop detector installations. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 freeway.
