Kapolei, HI—The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) is set to host the 15th Annual Native Hawaiian Convention from October 10-12, 2016 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel & Resort in Honolulu. The event is one of the largest statewide and national gatherings of Native Hawaiian organizations, leaders, cultural practitioners, policy makers, and community members. Hosting guests from Hawaii and across the country, the 2015 convention welcomed over 500 attendees during its three days of events and forums featuring discussions on health, housing, Hawaiian Homes, philanthropy, education and more. In its 15th year, CNHA aims to continue its success of convening the voices and priorities of the Hawaiian community while celebrating its milestone of 15 years of service to the Hawaiian community.

In addition to policy caucuses, workshops and breakout sessions on a variety of topics, the convention also features the popular Marketplace, highlighting Native Hawaiian practitioners, artists, crafters, and designers with local products for sale. Vendors this year will enjoy sharing their products with convention attendees and the Sheraton Hotel guests occupying the more than 1,600 rooms.
