Early Head Start (EHS) is a prenatal-age 3, infant/toddler program for low income families and children with special needs that is designed to nurture and support parents and children by building on families’ strengths.
• Home-based services are available
• Center-based services offer full day and part day classes in certain areas

• Creative Curriculum
• Promote & encourage father participation
• Diapers are OK – No need to be potty trained

The Head Start (HS) program provides a “head start” for school success for low-income and special needs children 3-5 years of age. Children learn through play and socialization.
• Center based services offer full day and part day classes in certain areas
• Breakfast, lunch, and snack provided
• Creative Curriculum
• Promote & encourage father participation
• Home visits
• Inclusion classrooms with the Department of Education for special needs children
• Transportation options available
In collaboration with the Early Intervention Section and the Department of Education, Early Head Start/ Head Start (EHS/HS) provides services to children with special needs and their families; providing an ideal environment to promote the development of new skills, and support families through the transition process.
