Legislation introduced by Senator Shimabukuro has been scheduled for hearing before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection and Health.

SB 2315-Exempts mothers who breastfeed or express breast milk from Jury Duty; provided that this exemption shall end when a mother is no longer breastfeeding or expressing breast milk.

The deadline to submit testimony is:  Monday February 1,2016 8:30 am

Although late testimony may be submitted on the day of the hearing, any testimony submitted after the 24 hours prior should also be printed and sent to the CPH chair as a hard copy.
